About me

Hello! My name is Adelaida Iancu, an digital and traditional children’s book illustrator from Romania, Bucharest. I finished both art high school and  university, in the mural art section, and during these years I realized that I actually wanted to illustrate children's books.

I have a semi-realistic painterly style with a gentle cartoonish touch. I avoid exaggerated or meaningless shapes because I believe children are intelligent and deserve artwork that respects their understanding. My goal is to create illustrations that are warm, textured, and emotionally engaging playful, but always thoughtful and grounded in storytelling.
